SON Mobile Health Clinic
The University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Nursing Mobile Health Clinic was unveiled in May 2017 to provide direct health care and education in communities throughout Mississippi. Since then, we have participated in over 300 community events. We continue our mission "to develop nursing leaders and improve health within and beyond Mississippi in education, research, practice and service" as the mobile clinic travels around the state to provide interprofessional health care, education and screenings to those in need. With a fully functioning clinic on wheels, we can partner with other professions to provide the necessary care and are always looking for more opportunities to serve our state.
